Privacy Policy

Versus Technologies LLC, 2140 Dupont Boulevard, Camden, Delaware 19934, USA ("we"), operates scrolling.ai and is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account data: email, name and your preferences. You sign in with Google or a one-time code we email you; we don't store a password.
• Brand data: the public website you give us and what we extract from it (brand name, products, tone, colors).
• Uploads: photos you upload to build a custom presenter, and logos.
• Usage data: pages viewed, funnel events, device and browser details, and the marketing source that brought you (UTM parameters, ad click ids).
• Payment data: you enter your card in Whop's secure form, so the card number, expiry date and security code go to Whop and never to us. We keep a Whop customer reference, the record of each purchase (amount, date, what was bought) and, for auto-refill, the card brand and last four digits that Whop shows us. Plans bought before we moved to Whop are billed by Stripe until they end.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: write stories, render videos, build presenters, deliver emails.
• To bill you and prevent abuse (for example, one introductory offer per person).
• To measure and improve our marketing and product, including conversion events sent to advertising platforms such as Meta with hashed identifiers.

Photos of people

Photos uploaded to build a custom presenter are processed only to create that presenter for your account. We do not use them to train models, and we never offer that presenter to other customers. You can delete a custom presenter at any time.

Service providers

We share data with processors who help run the Service: hosting, database and sign-in (e.g. Vercel, Supabase, Google), AI providers that generate text, voice and video (e.g. Anthropic, ElevenLabs, APIMart), payments (Whop, and Stripe for earlier plans), email (Resend) and analytics. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Payments with Whop

Whop processes your payment under its own privacy policy. It receives your name, email, payment method, billing country and the device details it needs to prevent fraud.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where the law of your country requires it, transfers are protected with standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the Service.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Deleted videos are kept for 7 days and then removed. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data and to object to processing. Email hello@scrolling.ai.

Children

scrolling.ai is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
